We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equipment Service/Repair Manager to lead our team in maintaining and servicing a wide range of equipment.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operations of our service department, ensuring that all equipment repairs and maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive service strategies, managing staff, and coordinating schedules to maximize productivity.

As the Equipment Service and Repair Manager, you will act as a liaison between our clients and technical staff, ensuring that any service issues are diagnosed and resolved promptly. Furthermore, you will implement training programs to elevate the skills of your team and stay updated on the latest industry technologies and repair techniques. Your leadership will not only support our commitment to exceptional service but also foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department.

The position is in office, Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the equipment service and repair department
  • Manage a team of 6-8 technicians, providing guidance and support
  • Develop and implement service strategies to improve efficiency and quality
  • Coordinate scheduling of equipment repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Manage inventory and procurement of parts and equipment necessary for repairs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and service issues
  • Must be comfortable with dispatching technicians.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in equipment service and repair management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in software used for service management and reporting
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members
