Volt is hiring Assemblers for 1st and 2nd shift for a Manufacturing Company in Hillsboro, OR.
As an Assembler you will:
Shift:
1St shift: 6am-2:30pm - Pay: $17/hr
2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm - Pay: $17.25/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Volt is hiring Assemblers for 1st and 2nd shift for a Manufacturing Company in Hillsboro, OR.
As an Assembler you will:
- Perform various assembly operations, which include, but are not limited to:
- Ultrasonic welding.
- Thermal insertion.
- Basic joining (screws, riveting, etc.)
- Drilling operations.
- Use part counting scale.
- Review assembly workbook for the current work order to be completed.
- Inspect work based on quality standards written out in workbook.
- If quality check is to be done at the workstation, report results to the Assembly Lead once completed.
- Produce product at 98% outgoing quality or higher.
- Perform all job responsibilities to efficiently and effectively produce quality products in a timely manner.
- Inspect parts to ensure that standards are met and report deviations immediately to the Supervisor.
- Report hourly production on production boards at each station.
- Clean work area at the end of each shift.
- Preform various assembly operations, which include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble aerospace products.
- ESD assembly operations.
- CNC operations.
- Perform rework or secondary operations as needed.
- Properly use measurement gauges and testing fixtures.
- Account for components used in assemblies.
- Mentor and train new operators.
- Previous assembly experience preferred
- Close Toed Shoes required
- Good mechanical aptitude and vision/finger dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Basic understanding of lot control and internal R&D numbering conventions
- Must be able to read and understand customer specifications.
