Senior Accountant - Audit & Assurance - Lafayette, IN Our client, a growing CPA firm located in Lafayette, IN, is actively seeking a Senior Auditor. The Senior Auditor will lead and execute audit engagements with precision and integrity. This role will involve developing comprehensive audit plans, mentoring a team and cultivating client relationships. The Senior Auditor will stay at the forefront of industry changes, contribute to business development efforts and make a lasting impact on both clients and the firm. Senior Auditor Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute audit engagements, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budget constraints Develop comprehensive audit plans for clients in accordance with regulatory standards Analyze financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to identify areas for improvement Lead and guide audit teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture Provide mentorship and training to junior auditors, facilitating their professional development Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their business Address client concerns, inquiries, and requests in a timely professional manner Conduct internal quality assurance reviews to maintain and enhance audit quality Collaborate with regulatory bodies and auditees to address inquiries and maintain transparency Stay abreast of industry changes Contribute to business development efforts Senior Auditor Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial auditing Strong knowledge of GAAS and GAAP Experience with regulatory reporting and internal audits Proficiency in accounting software Excellent analysis skills Familiarity with SOX and COSO frameworks Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Experience in public accounting is a plus For more information, please submit a confidential resume to melvamriz.net Melva Lowry 1531 W.
