Real Estate Property Accountant

Job Description Our client specializes in multi-tenant retail and office assets in several geographic regions across the US. They are a growing Real Estate company and need an Accountant in the Ponte Vedre Beach office. Commercial Real Estate Accounting experience is required. Responsibilities: Full-cycle accounting for commercial property portfolio Reconcile general ledger accounts Month-end close processes (Bank Reconciliations, Accruals, Financial Reporting, GL Account Reconciliations, Billing, Payables, etc) Year-end close processes Assist Property Manager with tenant recovery billings (CAM, Tax and Utilities) and the annual reconciliation process Assist with the preparation of Annual Tax Returns Process banking transactions, including wire transfers Assist with audits, forecasts, and other fiscal planning Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA - nice to have 5 years of Commercial Property Accounting experience or related field required Knowledge of US GAAP Experience with investor distributions, Net leases, budget process, CAM reconciliation Yardi and Excel spreadsheets Intermediate level of experience in Excel; pivot tables proficiency required Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Results-oriented and success motivated Strong multitasking skills, organized, and detail-oriented Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Up to 10% in bonuses For a confidential conversation call/text Jessica at 605.705.3764 or email jessica.drinkardgogpac.com All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
