Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide caliber client service and team-building initiatives. The Entry Level Sales Assistant anticipates how decisions are made, understands the details of individual campaigns, and persistently explores and uncovers the business needs of key clients and the 5M Promotions team. Working with them, the Entry Level Sales Assistant sets the vision of the business development strategy.

The Entry Level Sales Assistant has responsibility and accountability for managing our client experience. The Entry Level Sales Assistant in this role will be responsible for the overall satisfaction of our customers and maintaining personal customer retention. As a member of the Sales Assistant team you will be a key contributor to driving service excellence through innovation, seamless onboarding, and working with our clients to fully understand their business and how our platform can benefit their needs.

Core Responsibilities of the Entry Level Sales Assistant:

  • Own the relationship with a portfolio of customers and ultimately be responsible for the customers’ onboarding, adoption, and renewal.
  • Support clients with all implementation and platform issues.
  • Answer customer inquiries and help to educate them in person.
  • Have daily/weekly cadence for meeting with strategic clients.
  • Must be able to understand and break down a customer workflow and map it back to our product.
  • Manage and collaborate as a team to resolve at-risk customer escalations across your book.
  • Be the voice of our customers with the product and engineering teams. Gather, prioritize, and communicate feedback and feature requests.
  • Monitor and manage the account health of your book of business to ensure our customers stay engaged

Qualifications for the Entry Level Sales Assistant Role:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales is preferred, but not required.
  • Willing to understand the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and clients.
