Job Description: Candidates should have the ability to create machine vision inspections based on specification and scope of work. Perform feasibility studies, Cognex Easybuilder, spreadsheet, Keyence laser and Keyence traditional tools. Matrox DA (Design Assistance), Matrox template programming, AIA certified a benefit not a must. GigE networks. Must have developed applications for Absence/Presence, Kitting, model inspection, barcode, OCR, etch. Familiarity using external lights and lighting, filters and lenses. 2 years experience. (Recent experience) Must be able to work alone and/or within a team. Must be able to engage with customer in a professional manner. Cognex Easy builder, spreadsheet a required skill. Must have the ability to program Easy builder. Hardware: Cognex, Keyence, Allied Vision, Basler, Matrox, GVI, Smart Vision Lighting, AIA Education: Bachelors preferred. Additional Details We are looking for an additional Vision Engineering resource to work onsite with a customer in Warren, MI. They need to be local (travel expenses will not be considered). They may also do some travel to other plants on occasion (if travel is outside the local area, expenses will be covered). They need to have knowledge and experience with Matrox, Keyence, and at least somewhat familiar with Cognex. This person will not be programming on a daily basis but someone who has programmed systems in the past is ideal. They will be helping other Vision Engineers troubleshoot issues. This person may also indirectly manage some projects or work directly with OEM suppliers. So they need to have strong communication skills. 1st shift, and should be at least 1 year of work.
