Who We're Looking For: We are seeking an experienced IT and Technology Solutions Manager to oversee and optimize the technological infrastructure of our construction operations. Our new IT and Technology Solutions Managerwill ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and technology tools used across our business, including project management software, mobile devices, and communication platforms. The IT and Technology Solutions Manager will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, and network systems, as well as providing strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and productivity. This position will work closely with leadership to implement technology solutions that support both office and field operations. What You'll Do: Lead the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and technology solutions for the company, ensuring they support business goals and enhance productivity. Oversee the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware (laptops, tablets, mobile devices), software applications (project management tools, communication platforms), and network systems. Manage the selection, procurement, installation, and configuration of all technology tools, working with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services. Develop and enforce IT policies related to data security, software usage, and device management to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide direct technical support to internal teams, troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a timely manner, and coordinating with external vendors for complex issues. Work closely with project managers, field teams, and leadership to assess technology needs and implement solutions that streamline operations and improve collaboration across projects. Identify and recommend new technology tools and platforms that can improve business processes, reduce inefficiencies, or enhance communication and reporting on construction projects. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to software applications, ensuring a secure and efficient working environment for all employees. Conduct employee training sessions and create user-friendly documentation to ensure staff are proficient with new systems and tools. Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and developments in the construction industry to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Support business continuity planning by ensuring data backups, disaster recovery plans, and systems redundancies are in place. What You Bring to The Table: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management, technology support, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a construction or field-based environment. Strong experience with IT infrastructure management, including cloud-based solutions, networks, and mobile technology. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, or similar platforms) and construction-related software. Experience in vendor management and negotiating technology contracts. Knowledge of IT security best practices and familiarity with compliance regulations (e.g., data protection laws, HIPAA). Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to train and mentor staff on the use of technology solutions and provide hands-on support when needed.
