Job Details: Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet and exceed quality standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Quality Engineer will lead quality improvement initiatives, perform root cause analysis, oversee inspections, and manage quality processes within SAP. Key Responsibilities: Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving Lead and facilitate thorough root cause analyses to address product and process nonconformities. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Inspection Oversight Oversee and support inspection processes, ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards. Create, review, and update inspection plans, ensuring alignment with product specifications. Train and mentor inspection personnel to improve inspection techniques and documentation practices. SAP Quality Management Manage quality-related data and processes within SAP, including quality notifications, inspections, and tracking CAPAs. Ensure accurate documentation of quality control activities and maintain records for audits. Identify opportunities to optimize SAP quality workflows and reporting capabilities. Audit & Compliance Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable standards. Ensure product and process documentation is up to date and meets regulatory requirements. Assist with supplier quality assessments and audits as needed. Team Collaboration Act as a liaison between quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to address quality concerns proactively. Provide technical expertise and training in quality tools and methodologies to team members. Foster a culture of quality and accountability across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or a similar industry. Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys). Hands-on experience with inspection tools, techniques, and equipment. Strong working knowledge of SAP, particularly in Quality Management (QM) modules. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus. Work Environment: Combination of office and manufacturing floor environments. Occasional travel may be required for supplier assessments or audits Cubic Pay Range: $91,840 - 120,000 benefits. The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
