The Accountant will work directly with the Division Controller and have the autonomy to streamline processes and procedures, while growing their career long-term within a rapidly growing organization Job Description Accountant Responsibilities: Assist the Division Controller in the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports. Ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely submission to management and corporate headquarters. Establish and maintain effective internal control processes to safeguard assets, ensure compliance with company policies, and prevent fraud. Conduct periodic internal audits as necessary. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting principles (e.g., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - GAAP), and corporate policies. Reconcile inventory accounts between the general ledger and physical counts. Prepare and present inventory-related financial reports to senior management, including analysis of inventory turnover, gross margins, and other key metrics. Collaborate with the purchasing, operations, and sales teams to ensure inventory levels are properly managed and aligned with financial records.
