Raytheon IIS has an immediate professional opening for a Senior Infrastructure Environment Management Team (EMT) member . The qualified candidate will have a background and experience designing, configuring, and managing development, software Integration & Test (I&T), system I&T, and performance test factory infrastructure environments. NOTE: This position will be onsite in the RTX Facility in Richardson, TX What You Will Do: As an EMT member, You will serve as the first line of defense in trouble-shooting issues arising in multiple I&T environments You will interface with Software Engineers to concisely document installation instructions and support I&T staff by modifying the environments as required You will develop Scripts using Bash / Perl / Ruby / Python as a critical skill to continuously update and effectively monitor system stability and usability Administrative fluency with the following (or vendor equivalent): Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMWare solutions Qualifications You Must Have: A current U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe) Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go) Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure on Linux based Operating Systems Qualifications We Prefer: Hands-on experience with virtualization tools and cloud computing, either private (VMware, OpenStack) or public (AWS) Experience integrating COTS/FOSS software into a system Solid environment and configuration management skills; ability to maintain multiple baselines, e.g. Dev, Test, Prod Development experience with at least one infrastructure automation tool such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet Strong ability to troubleshoot system integration issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the use of MS Office applications Prior experience as a system administrator (Linux or Windows) Exposure to Information Assurance compliance to specified standards, e.g. ICD-503 IT infrastructure architecture exposure Current CompTIA Security or ability to obtain within 90 days Experience with DevOps tools other than infrastructure automation, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant, etc RTX Corporation is an Aerospace and Defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
