Production Worker

Job Title: Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis candidate will be producing and ensuring the safe quality production and modification of a variety of sized glass tubes for the medical/scientific field. The candidate will utilize micrometers, gauges, calipers, and microscopes to ensure the quality of each glass component is correct. Additionally, the candidate will inspect, bag, tag, and pack finalized materials while controlling inventory.ResponsibilitiesProduce and modify various sizes of glass tubes for the medical/scientific field.Utilize micrometers, gauges, calipers, and microscopes to ensure quality control.Inspect, bag, tag, and pack finalized materials.Control inventory of produced glass components.Essential Skills1+ year of operating a machine.1+ year of quality inspection experience.Ability to read product specification drawings.Basic math skills (experience with counting or measuring in a job setting).Ability to learn and cross-train quickly.Ability to sit and/or stand for 8-10 hours/day.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ years of experience using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.Experience with cycle counting, inventory, or ERP systems.Final inspection experience.Handling small microscopic materials.Experience with wool packing.Experience with screen printing.Why Work Here?This is a well-established company that has been growing and is very busy due to their products being involved in testing and vaccines in the medical field.
