BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
Compensation: $160,000-180,000 PTO:15 days + sick time Retirement: 401K with a match
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE
Design, deploy, and maintain robust IT systems and infrastructure using Azure cloud services to support our civil engineering projects. Identify and implement cost saving measures, areas of improvement for efficiencies, and maintaining up-to-date standards in technology Migrating on-prem servers and machines to the Azure cloud ecosystem. Experience scripting - Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our network infrastructure, servers, and storage systems on the Azure platform. Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address the IT needs of various departments, ensuring efficient and reliable operations on Azure. Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures in Azure to protect our sensitive data and intellectual property. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, preferably in a similar industry. Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes is preferred. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies. Proficiency in Azure cloud services, server administration, virtualization, and cloud-based services. Experience with Azure-specific technologies, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Networks, and Azure Active Directory. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, specifically in an Azure environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-centric approach.
