Job Description Travel ICU RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in North Dakota. ND or compact license is required. 2-3 years of Critical Care/ICU experience is required. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. 12 HR D/N, day and night shifts. 36 HR with every other weekend and holiday. These needs/rates are to address the current COVID-19 staffing shortages. 2 weeks notice to cancel can be given. May be working full time in COVID special care unit and float out to ICU units and any of the 3 locations in Fargo. Will guarantee 2 weeks of need to quarantine due to infection while treating patient on site. EPIC experience is preferred. Unit Description 1.General job duties. Types of procedures required. Cardiac Monitoring, Vents, Central Lines, Art Lines, Drip titration, Trach cares, Tube Feedings, 2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Draeger Vents, Omni pumps, Plum Pumps, Patrol pumps, EVD's, Epic training 5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Straight weekends days/nights - 12 hour shifts. 7.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 2E - 19 bed Unit, 3E - 25 bed unit 8.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) Primarily 2:1 ratio, occassionally 1:1 and 3:1 based on complexity and acuity of the patient.
