Job Purpose/Overview

The Global Finance Manager for Supply Chain and Fixed Assets will be instrumental in supporting business unit expansion and the assets needed to support that growth. This role is also responsible for a breadth of critical activities including financial and analytical support to the global supply chain function. The position will lead, manage, and own all financial processes (including periodic reporting, planning, forecasting and IVCP), coordinating the inputs, reviews, analyses, strategic perspectives, executive deck creation and timetables for Capital Budget (CAB) and Fixed Asset (FAA) management. From a custodian standpoint the position will be required to review and implement ICE, audits, and create policies and procedures to safeguard Assets.

This role must have an enterprise mindset and champion the company's Five Principles & practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships to gain cross-functional alignment on FAA targets, recommending trade-offs to the CFO and LT, as well as supporting financial integrity and adhering to Finance Manual (Accounting policies).

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end processes and performance management for Fixed Assets, culminating with the insights, recommendations, and thought leadership that drives high-ROI across the business unit.

Implement robust performance management to ensure projects are executed on-time, with quality, and in alignment with approvals.

Includes activities across Fixed Asset Management – Creation, Capitalization, Impairments, Retirements, Disposal, including completion of periodic FAA journal entries; responsible for the Fixed Asset Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliation, and annual Fixed Asset Physical Audits.

Responsible for periodic actual reporting, budgeting, forecasting and IVCP (strategic planning) of capital projects (FAA).

Own all facets of Supply Chain Finance, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, IVCP, and general performance management for the Global Supply Chain P&L.

Co-pilot Co-pack, Production Labor, Freight & Logistics spend by partnering with the Supply team to deliver financial reporting, continuous improvement, cost savings, and process efficiencies. This also includes completion of periodic journal entries.

Partner with third party freight and logistics providers to drive accountability of inventory accuracy and accurate financial reporting.

Responsible for period end close activities as it relates to FAA and Supply Chain (manage Supply Chain P&L).

Ensure compliance to the Finance Manual, proper governance, and application of internal controls for all areas of responsibility through education, training, and audits.

This role requires a high degree of collaboration, socialization, executive presence and command skills in order to properly maintain relationships and proactively manage expectations not only with internal cross functional teams and the Leadership Team but also with Global Supply. Need a strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial planning skills. Requires flexibility to be comfortable with frequently shifting priorities.

Education & Professional Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.

Required: 5 years of work experience with emphasis in accounting, supporting cross-functional teams or related financial role.

Preferred: Minimum of 2 years industry experience with exposure to Supply Finance and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive results

Knowledge/Experience

5-7+ years of direct finance or accounting experience.

Advanced financial modelling skills.

Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in preparing reports and analyses.

Superior professionalism, discretion, and judgment.

Exceptional results orientation, with a high degree of personal initiative and leadership.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels and functions, both internally and externally.

Ability to analyse, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts to make effective business decisions.

Respond positively to change, embracing and using new practices or methodologies to accomplish goals and solve problems.

Proven self-starter with a record of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision

Well-developed organization skills to manage multiple projects and priorities and achieve deadlines.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user.

Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles.

Working knowledge of automation techniques and tools.
