The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking an IT Project Specialist / Information System Security Officer (ISSO). This position involves critical responsibilities associated with system and network administration for NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks, along with tasks related to Information Systems Security Management. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in information systems and navigate cross-domain environments while adhering to compliance regulations. You will play a key role in the development and optimization of information-sharing solutions to enhance collaboration across the organization, ensuring secure and seamless operation of all systems. Primary Responsibilities: Network Infrastructure Development:

Create VISIO and Microsoft Project documentation detailing network configurations while overseeing the procurement and setup of NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and Tactical System Emulator Networks to meet operational needs. Information Systems Security Management:

Develop and implement security strategies to protect against threats, perform risk assessments, and lead security compliance initiatives. Systems Development:

Provide guidance on network requirements for efficient system performance. Knowledge Management Solutions:

Analyze and enhance internal processes, implementing solutions that improve collaboration on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS platforms while managing updates to the unit's portal pages. Documentation and Compliance:

Generate essential documentation for security operations, security control outlines, and network diagrams while coordinating the procurement of network equipment to ensure optimal performance. Additional Responsibilities: Physical Infrastructure Oversight:

Monitor power, HVAC, and server room requirements, ensuring compliance with security protocols and optimal infrastructure performance. IT Equipment Management:

Track and maintain IT equipment, manage user accounts, and troubleshoot issues to ensure effective use of IT resources. Administrative Support:

Assist in administrative functions, managing data life-cycle, and approving content for publication while ensuring compliance with guidelines. Required Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance with potential access to Special Access Program (SAP) information. Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 6+ years of experience (or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree). CompTIA Security+ certification. Strong understanding of NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks and hands-on experience with these systems and network security principles. Ability to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions. Experience with secure network design and implementation. Proficiency in network protocols, operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, administration tools, and security protocols. Experience with scripting and automation. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Desired Qualifications: Experience with information security frameworks like NIST RMF, knowledge management systems, web technologies, and project management methodologies. $81,250.00 - $146,875.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, market data, applicable bargaining agreements, or other regulations.
