Key Responsibilities:
For these contractor assignments, you'll work within a cross-functional team to build innovative and visionary Insurance products. You'll provide creative direction and problem-solving for various projects at different stages of their life cycles. Using a modern JavaScript framework, you'll develop new features, refine and maintain existing ones, and write unit tests and documentation for ongoing development and maintenance. You'll work closely with designers, UX, product strategists, test engineers, and third-party vendors to ensure a shared understanding of the product. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the technical lead and other developers to ensure consistent and coherent architectural patterns across projects. Assist a team integrating a new policy admin system. Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key skills; JavaScript, Node.Js, GraphQL, AWS and PostgreSQL Demonstrated expertise in Node with other server-side programming (C#, Java, Python) and GraphQL Demonstrated expertise in AWS and PostgreSQL with other database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL) Familiarity with entity relationship design and modeling in distributed systems Experience ensuring seamless integrations, timely delivery, designing detailed plans, identifying risks, and removing blockers Demonstrated expertise in React with other JavaScript ES6 concepts and use within a modern JavaScript-based framework such as Vue, Angular or other open source UI frameworks Experience with test driven tools such as Cypress or Playwright Familiarity with making calls to third party API's Start Up experience is a plus Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications. In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.
