WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON Create, evaluate, and modify prototypes to support evolving hardware and software applications Develop user profiles and analyze them to improve human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation, and task objectives Apply software design and usability processes to investigate technical problems Provide product usability evaluation and support to product teams Analyze and investigate applications and systems including tactile, visual, web, multimedia, voice response, and conversational user interactions Assist in developing design concepts and implementations, providing input on user design considerations Produce specifications describing user requirements and internal structures for products in development WHAT YOU WILL DO Design, Develop, and Maintain Cognos FM Models and Reports. Implement best practices in design and development of Cognos FM Models and Reports to ensure high quality of deliverables and ease of maintenance. Write complex SQL queries involving complex joins and multiple tables against the Snowflake database and validate the results against the results produced by the Cognos Packages and reports. Assess the impact of new requirements and changes on existing Cognos FM Models and reports. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing routine data validation and quality checks on Packages and Reports. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting needs Coordinate deployment of Cognos Packages and Reports from Dev to QA to Prod via a change management system. Ensure that Role-based data-level and folder-level security works as expected and add more security where needed. Ensure timely deliverables within the timelines of the agile sprints planned. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Cognos Models and Reports. Optimize Cognos Models and Reports for performance and usability. Document details related to Cognos Models, Reports, and Security. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in a related field Minimum 10 years of directly relevant experience 7 to 10 years of experience with Cognos FrameWorkManager Comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert
