Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health
Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; Preferred: Seven (7) years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care (within the last ten years).
License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Must-Have: ACLS
Job Description: - Provide critical care nursing for neonatal patients in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. - Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to plan and implement specialized patient care. - Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the relevant medical staff. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Educate and support family members of neonatal patients, ensuring they understand the care processes. - Maintain compliance with hospital policies and nursing procedures. - Uphold the highest standards of nursing care and ethical practice in the delivery of services. - Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with best nursing practices. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. - Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity in the delivery of care.
Candidates are expected to have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a relevant nursing license and certifications. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
