Job Title : Business Analyst - IT Reporting To: Architect, AG IT Solutions Work Schedule: Hybrid - Buffalo, NY Moog's Military Aircraft Group is hiring an IT Business Analyst. This is a full-time position in East Aurora, NY reporting to the IT Solutions Architect. As a Business Analyst in the Moog Military Aircraft Group, you will be thought of as an IT partner, working with teams of any function, to understand where that team wants to go, and how IT can be an effective part of the solution. It's a position that translates the business need into IT requirements and solutions. It's an exciting opportunity responsible for assisting customers in realizing their business plans by playing a key role in business projects, process improvements, and operational excellence. You'll be expected to take on the following Identify and evaluate requirements for business processes and application improvements for the Military Aircraft Group and other enterprise wide projects. Participate in project and process improvement teams learning how different functions contribute to the overall delivery of Moog solutions to our external customers. Find critical information necessary to develop high-quality analyses. Represent the business within the technical delivery arena. Support ongoing requests for needed IT application improvements and new capability requests. Document process and information requirements in support of business initiatives. Implement solutions working with the Solutions Architect and Programmer/Analysts to help guide the customer to a solution while staying within the boundaries of the project timeline, budget, and technical solution complexity. To take on this role, you'll need A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in business analysis and/or bridge roles between functional business areas and IT. Excellent relationship skills and demonstrated experience working on Agile Teams and translating business requirements into IT requirements to deliver targeted business outcomes. Knowledge of a variety of Agile techniques and tools (Azure DevOps, Backlog Management/Prioritization, Minimum Viable Products, Product Roadmaps, Portfolio Kanban). Ability to function within an Agile Team environment; being conversant with Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile events (Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Program Increment Planning, Inspect and Adapt) Certifications in Supply Chain, Finance, or PMI favored Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
