Job Description: Job Summary The Senior Business Systems Analyst will perform functions on a highly complex project to replace the current legacy transportation management system, with a SaaS based vendor product called CargoWise. This new TMS will integrate with many external systems, both internal and external to UPS. He/She serves as a liaison between the business community and Information Services (I.S.). This position elicits and analyzes business needs and validates that solutions fit within the long-term strategic vision. The Senior Business Systems Analyst determines the impact and integration of solutions to business processes and systems. This position stays current on industry best practices, standards, trends, tools, and techniques. He/She collaborates with organizational stakeholders and senior management to establish and implement processes that enhance efficiency, and improve work products for the enterprise. We are looking for someone who come up to speed quickly, and hit the ground running. Responsibilities: Works with little or no supervision on projects of moderate to high complexity and independently on projects of low to moderate complexity. Serves as liaison between our Business Development, Development and Quality Assurance teams. Contributes to the identification of solutions, elicitation and development of business and functional requirements that meet the needs of the business in a date driven business and application development environment. Qualifications: 5 years of related experience Highly experienced in Requirements elicitation and documentation analysis Hands-on experience with Software Development tools and ability to perform some scripting tasks Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other documentation tools Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Computer Science or related field - Preferred Experience with Carrier business rules and industry standards - Preferred Grade: 20G Employee Type: Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
