The Supply Chain Technologies Architect plays a crucial role in bridging business needs with technological solutions. This position focuses on maximizing the value of Medline's technology investments by collaborating with business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with strategic goals. The Architect leads the design and implementation of solutions within the Supply Chain Technologies (SCT) landscape, ensuring project alignment with architectural standards and best practices. Key areas of focus include Workforce Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and cloud application modernization.

Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Lead the design, analysis, and realization of high-quality solutions for systems and applications, particularly focusing on WMS, TMS, and cloud modernization. Design and Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical designs for software applications, adhering to modern architecture principles, patterns, and best practices. Document all architecture design and analysis work. Review and Oversight: Oversee application design reviews to ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements, including cost optimization, performance, reliability, scalability, security, and compliance. Guidance and Standards: Provide guidance to the IT team on technical designs, development practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing, validation, monitoring, security, and system integrations, ensuring adherence to Medline standards. Collaboration: Work closely with management, business leaders, IT architects, and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute the IT roadmap in line with operational decisions. Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supply chain technology, evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools to enhance application development. Mentorship: Coach and mentor technical subject matter experts, application team members, and enterprise architects to implement architectures that support new business capabilities and operating models. Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and systems, particularly in Distribution and Transportation. Platform Experience: Experience with major WMS platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates, Korber/High Jump, Oracle WMS, SAP EWM) and TMS platforms (e.g., Mercury Gate, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Descartes), along with their integrations with ERP, BI Reporting, WES, WCS, and Robotics Automation systems. Technical Expertise:

Proven experience in crafting application designs that address complex functional and non-functional requirements, along with developing high-level execution plans to guide development teams through the implementation process. Skilled in designing application landscapes for Cloud environments. Expertise in modern integration patterns, including REST/SOAP-based APIs, as well as legacy integration methods such as batch processing and file-based data transfers. Extensive development and architecture experience with Azure cloud-native applications and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a creative and innovative mindset. Communication and Leadership:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical staff at all levels. Strong influence, guidance, and facilitation skills for stakeholders and peers. Agile and Product Management: Solid understanding of product management and agile development principles. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading successful global or regional WMS/TMS implementations, migrations, or upgrades.
