Document Analyst - Gas Utilities

Overview
Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Document Analyst to join our Gas Sector. The Document Analyst is responsible for reviewing the accuracy of all construction documentation for their assigned projects which are received through field site visits, the project team and via the company's document repository. This role will support the projects and efforts to improve the safety of natural gas transmission pipelines.
Responsibilities
Review construction documentation for accuracy against company Gas standards and/or applicable code. Work closely with the construction team to schedule site visits for documentation review. Communicate with construction team and company QA/QC team to identify and mitigate documentation issues. Manage documentation for compliance with regulatory, company, and department requirements. Ensure new document & records management and retention standards/policies are enforced. Monitors and maintains Companies' document repository log per their assigned projects. Prepare statistical data reports from company's document repository to assist Construction management team in any areas of concern. Assist in preparing and tracking all DOT documents necessary for audits. Review and advise on the work of others to ensure all material and inspection documentation processes have been properly followed. Qualifications
2-3 years of document analyst or project coordination experience in dry utilities required QA/QC document review experience required and excellent attention to detail required Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field preferred Knowledge of dry utilities specifications and requirements preferred Knowledge of Governing Regulations such as API 1104 20TH Edition, Pipeline Safety Regulations 192. Etc., or most current edition) preferred Proficiency using MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Writer Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve through interpretation of governing regulations Ability to work effectively independently, as part of a team and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills Ability to be adaptable and flexible High level of personal integrity with a strong work ethic Current California driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations required
Pay Range: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
Work Location: Onsite 5 days per week fielding in the Southern CA region or working in the Chatsworth, CA office
Travel: Up to 30% travel to client project sites within the Southern CA region including occasional overnight stays (company vehicle provided)
Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
