**Position Summary**:
The **Master Electrician with Contractor's License** will oversee all electrical work on commercial job sites, ensuring code compliance, safety, and efficiency. This role involves planning, supervising a team of electricians, troubleshooting complex electrical systems, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and project managers. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience and a deep understanding of both high and low voltage systems, with the ability to lead projects from start to finish.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems, including wiring, panels, breakers, transformers, and other components.
- Ensure that all work complies with state and national electrical codes, as well as local safety regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Perform detailed troubleshooting of electrical issues and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and provide expert guidance on electrical system upgrades or modifications.
- Maintain accurate project records, including material usage, labor hours, and work progress reports.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and clear communication.
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
**Qualifications**:
- **Valid Mississippi Master Electrician License** (Required)
- **Valid Mississippi Electrical Contractor's License** (Required)
- **5+ years of commercial electrical experience**, including leadership and project management roles.
- Expertise in both high and low voltage electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a track record of managing teams and projects.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor settings and confined spaces.
- Able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
