•Annuity New Products - developing test strategies

Team Culture: Individual will be collaborating with a Technical Analyst to ensure product development meets contractual and regulatory requirements, while reducing reputational risk to the company. The business analyst and technical analyst will be part of larger Product project teams. Project teams will be fast paced with demanding stakeholders, and will require a business analyst who can collaboratively, but independently own and drive their SDLC deliverables-project scope, business requirements, test planning and execution, and defect management

Their focus will be on implementing new capabilities, like Partial Roth Conversion, or product features as part of the overall Product Policy Value process.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for authoring user stories, creating testing strategies and supporting the quality assurance team in test planning and execution/ this is not a requirements eliciting position but someone who can take available information to guide others in execution.

Team Makeup: Project Sponsor, Project Manager/Scrum master, Actuary, Technical Analyst, Business Analyst s), Developer(s), Quality Assurance, Vendor Partner / Staff, Subject Matter Experts,

Duration: 3 - 6 months

Critical Skills and Experience:

•Strong critical thinking skills with an aptitude to translate high level concepts into requirements or test strategies

•Strong soft skills and can communicate effectively at all levels (e.g., project team to executive sponsors)

•Strong technical aptitude

•Self-motivator / driver with high intuition. Reacts to the work around them without instruction

•Operates with a high sense of urgency and proactively addresses open questions and risks

•Customer oriented

•Maintains a solution focus, facilitating "here's how we can" versus "here's why we can't" mindset

•High technical aptitude

•Actuarial/Mathematics/or product development experience preferred

•Financial Product Modeling, Test strategy and execution oversight experience preferred

•Financial services experience preferred

•Experience with large scale, enterprise-wide implementations covering a broad and diverse group of stakeholders / end users
