Job Description
As a warehouse worker, you will measure and cut metal accurately using a tape measure, load trucks with prepared materials and products, and operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided). You will utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking, perform cycle counts, and manage inventory to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will safely operate side loaders, overhead cranes, and other warehouse equipment (training provided), follow all safety protocols, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Order selecting using high reach/side loader forklift and sit-down forklift.
- Sorting and banding material once picked.
- Operating overhead crane as needed.
- Not solely a forklift role; includes order selecting, maneuvering material, loading trucks, and banding metals.
- Lifting up to 55 lbs independently (team lift or forklift for heavier items).
- Training provided for any tasks not already known.
- Experience with measuring, warehouse operations, production, and forklift operation.
- Familiarity with material handling, machine operation, RF scanners, cycle counts, and inventory management.
- Ability to operate a side loader and overhead crane.
- Physical capability to lift up to 55 lbs independently.
- Forklift, side loader, and RF scanner experience is a plus.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a clean, open-bay warehouse. The position is for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm, Monday-Friday) with 52-55 hours weekly. Initial training includes 2-3 weeks of classroom training followed by 3-4 weeks of hands-on training, with recertification on forklifts and overhead cranes regardless of prior certifications.
