Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The following identifies the primary and essential functions of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of all duties.
- Performs custodial tasks and maintenance of areas such as classrooms, offices and auditoriums.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Washes, dusts and polishes glass including windows, woodwork, walls, furniture and metal equipment;
- Cleans whiteboards and other classroom surfaces.
- Cleans and sanitizes sinks, water fountains, and/or fixture in restrooms and similar environments.
- Performs event set-up for university functions.
- Maintains assigned closets and equipment in a neat, clean and safe working condition.
- Removes snow and ice from stairways and walkways around buildings;
- Salts stairways and walkways.
- Reports need for repairs.
Qualifications
