Structural Engineer

Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Structural Engineer motivated to lead projects, work with others, and produce excellent results. The candidate should have experience consistent with, but not limited to:

  • 4 to 12 years of experience with new building design, renovations, adaptive reuse and/or condition assessments over a wide variety of project types and markets, including commercial, institutional, educational, public and industrial facilities
  • Performing structural analysis and design with a wide range of materials, such as concrete, structural steel, masonry, wood and cold form metal.
  • Performing investigations, site visits and other field work
  • Preparing calculations, drawings, condition assessment reports or field reports
  • Performing and/or supervising structural engineering efforts
  • Quality assurance and quality control of projects
  • Fostering existing and developing new client relationships
Job Requirements
  • Minimum years of work experience: 4-12
  • Specific Degree Requirement: Minimum of a BS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures
  • License Required: PE
  • Computer Skills: MS Office (Word and Excel), RAM SS, RAM Elements or STADD, AutoCAD, and Revit
Preferred Attributes:
  • Experienced with building design, assessment and renovation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project leadership
