The candidate selected for this opportunity should be able to report into the following North American office: Boston, MA.In this role you will be responsible for:Reviews, evaluates, and summarizes risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to aid underwriting decisions around submission acceptance or declination.Follows instructions from Underwriters in areas of policy rating, subjective pricing, policy construction, coverages & exclusions, mandatory forms, etc. to accurately quote and issue policies.Provides account servicing support in collaboration with Underwriter and Manager, with responsibility for end-to-end servicing processes for new business, renewals, and endorsements for simpleto complex business and products. Participates in broker/customer meetings, when needed.Issues new business and renewal policies, endorsements, handles billing and various service requests for complex business.Responds to written, verbal telephone inquiries appropriately and on time under close supervision by Underwriter and/or Manager. Working collaboratively with assigned underwriters.Supports Underwriter with broker/agent/distributor/customer interactions by providing excellentcustomer service skills.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and no prior experience in the Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance area ORZurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and no prior experience in the Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance are ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance area ANDKnowledge of data collection and analysisMicrosoft Office experiencePreferred Qualifications:Insurance industry knowledgeKnowledge of Risk ManagementKnowledge of processing, rating and policy management systems used in the insurance industryStrong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to open and drive collaboration with business partnersExceptional quality awareness; with Customer Experience focusAttention to detail, advanced desk management and prioritization of deliverablesMulti-tasking skills of internal systems: Workbench, e-file, Salesforce, iDocsExcel and ADOBE – Intermediate levelLarge Casualty experience a plusCommunicating directly with both internal and external customers via phone and email.Issuing new policies, renewals, endorsements and handling billing and other service type issues5% Travel, as needed Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.The hourly range provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles.?Compensation may exceed the hourly ratelisted based on the evaluation of skillset and experience.For additional information about our Total Rewards, clickhere.
