Description
The AIT Engineer will be responsible for assembly, integration, and testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of our spacecraft and satellite systems. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to develop test plans, execute test procedures, and analyze results to ensure that all systems meet rigorous standards.

Description
The AIT Engineer will be responsible for assembly, integration, and testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of our spacecraft and satellite systems. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to develop test plans, execute test procedures, and analyze results to ensure that all systems meet rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and procedures based on product specifications, requirements, and design documents. Define test objectives, metrics, and success criteria.
- Test Execution: Conduct testing of spacecraft and satellite systems, including functional, performance, environmental, and reliability tests. Operate test equipment and tools to perform tests accurately and efficiently.
- Data Analysis: Analyze test data and results to assess system performance and identify any deviations from specifications. Generate detailed test reports and present findings to engineering and management teams.
- Issue Identification: Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues discovered during testing. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to address and resolve issues effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and issues. Ensure that all testing activities are documented according to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of testing methodologies and processes. Identify opportunities for improving testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with test equipment and tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, environmental chambers). Strong knowledge of test design, execution, and data analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in test execution and data analysis.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
- Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in test engineering, with experience in aerospace or high-tech industries preferred.
- Advanced Skills: Expertise in advanced testing techniques, including experience with complex systems and high-precision testing.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in testing or quality management (e.g., ISTQB, Six Sigma Green Belt) are a plus.
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in aerospace or space technology sectors, particularly with spacecraft or satellite systems.
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
