Purely Driven.Position SummaryAs the Controls Engineer, you are a key site leader responsible for factory process control systems and networks to ensure operation, reliability, and continuous improvement for production and related site activities. In this role you will directly manage the Plant Controls Group, specifically with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA data acquisition, and instrument calibrations. You will design and/or approve electrical installations in accordance with proper codes and standards and provide technical oversight to ensure reliability and performance of electrical power distribution systems for the site (to include motor control and lighting). Directly supervise and lead the Plant Controls Technicians. Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory. Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for control system/electrical related projects. Develop and maintain the factory long term electrical and controls infrastructure plan. Lead in maintaining up-to-date and complete electrical and controls as-built documentation. Ensure proper filing documentation of (manuals, diagrams, instrument data sheets, software packages/licenses). Coordinate and implement control system software upgrades.Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university with 5+ years experience with PLC logic, control systems design, programming, integration, and electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment - OR - an Associate's / Technical Degree with 7+ years experience with PLC logic, control systems design, programming, integration, and electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment 3+ years of experience with the Inductive Automation Ignition Platform, Ignition Core CertificationThe approximate pay range for this position is $84,000 to $118,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
