Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to work under the direct supervision of site superintendents and regularly monitored by ownership. The role involves constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, metal, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand and power tools. Work includes both interiors and exteriors of commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural buildings.
Hours:
6/7am-4:30pm - Monday-Friday
Current crew is working 45+ hours a week
Responsibilities
  • Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, metal, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand and power tools.
  • Work on both interiors and exteriors of commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural buildings.
  • Read and understand technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Plan ahead and organize jobsite material and activities.
  • Install materials, equipment, and products to meet specifications.
  • Inspect products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Utilize critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Measure accurately, calculate dimensions, and solve problems using mathematics.
  • Ensure appropriate use of equipment, facilities, materials, and manpower to control costs.
  • Promote safety for the protection of people and property on the job-site.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Rough carpentry, metal stud, concrete, finish carpentry, framing, general labor, and trim carpentry
