Are you a safety-conscious individual with expertise in environmental, health, and safety policies? In this role, you will manage EHS compliance, conduct safety training, and ensure the highest safety standards in a manufacturing setting. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to oversee risk management, emergency preparedness, and regulatory documentation while driving our Zero Harm vision.Duties: Including but not limited to:•Provide daily guidance on EHS programs to employees, supervisors, and managers to promote safety awareness and effective practices.•Identify potential losses, evaluate risks, and implement corrective measures to prevent or minimize risk exposure. Conduct audits to ensure ongoing effectiveness.•Collaborate with IT, maintenance, and operations to ensure contractor personnel adhere to EHS policies.•Create, implement, and update Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and ensure safe work practices and equipment conditions.•Provide EHS-related training, including job-specific safety training, OSHA-required courses, ISO 14001/45001 compliance, and modular programs like STOP training.•Coordinate regulatory inspections to minimize deficiencies and penalties, and maintain all associated documentation.•Lead the development and maintenance of the Emergency Preparedness Plans, including Business Continuity Plans (BCP).•Oversee ISO 14001/45001 external and internal audits, working with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance.•Manage accident investigations and develop corrective actions in collaboration with operations management.•Handle workman's compensation claims and collaborate with HR, Operations, and Accounting for case management.•Administer respirator programs, conduct emergency drills, and ensure compliance with emergency response policies.Qualifications: •Associate degree (A.S.) in Environmental, Safety & Health or related field, or equivalent experience.•Professional certifications in safety and health.•Workman's Compensation Claim and Case Management training.•OSHA Compliance certification.•ISO 14001 and 45001 internal auditor training.•Strong written and verbal communication skills.•Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.•Proficient in Microsoft Office and other necessary software.Travel:•Occasional travel to different operations/facilities as requiredDisclaimer: Please note that we are unable to provide job sponsorships, including, but not limited to, visas, corp-to-corp arrangements (C2C), or any other form of sponsorship for employment.
