Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines.
• Install and repair water, gas, and other piping systems in homes, businesses, and factories.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, fixtures using hand or power tools.
• Install Clean drains, remove obstructions, and repair or replace broken pipes and fixtures.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.

Qualifications:

• Follow state and local building codes, determine the materials and equipment needed for a job, install pipes and fixtures, inspect and test installed pipe systems and pipelines, troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, maintain and repair plumbing systems.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience in the commercial field required
