Plumber

You will install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components in residential homes and smaller commercial establishments.

Responsibilities:

As a Plumber, you must have technical knowledge and experience. Since you will be the main point of contact between the company and our customers, you will also maintain a professional and friendly image and serve as an advocate for the company and our brand.

Specific duties include:

• Install, repair and maintain:
• plumbing systems and components
• water treatment equipment, piping and controls
• underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
• water heaters and conditioners
• plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim
• Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials
• Identify required tools and special equipment
• Select the type and size of pipe required
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
• Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment
• Assemble and install valves and fittings
• Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks

Requirements:

As a Plumber, you will combine technical expertise with a personable, approachable, and helpful personality. You must also be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to providing the best and most responsive customer service.

Special qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have 5+ years' experience as a Plumber; Master Plumber preferred
• Must be able to safely maintain a high level of performance while working independently in the field
• Ability to account for increasing and decreasing repair part inventory on service vans
• Strong communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet the company's motor vehicle policy
