xAI is looking for an IAM Engineer to join our Corporate IT team with a focus on identity infrastructure management. This position will ensure secure and efficient access to business applications and data, leveraging tools like Okta, G Suite, and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

  • IAM System Administration: Administer identity systems, focusing on solutions like Okta and G Suite. Use tools like Google Apps Manager (GAM) for automation and management of G Suite identities.
  • User Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of user identities using HRIS for onboarding and off-boarding, ensuring synchronization with Okta and G Suite. Utilize automation via GAM for bulk operations.
  • Policy and Compliance: Develop and enforce identity policies in line with corporate governance, ensuring compliance across all identity tools, including the use of Postman for API testing and integration with these systems.
  • Identity Integration: Integrate and manage identities across different platforms, ensuring seamless operations between HRIS, Okta, and G Suite. Use Postman to test and validate identity workflows and API calls.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Automate identity processes with scripting and tools like GAM, including user provisioning/de-provisioning and policy enforcement. Leverage Postman to script and automate API tests for identity services.
  • Support and Training: Offer support for identity-related issues, particularly those involving integrations with Okta, G Suite, and HRIS. Conduct training on using GAM for G Suite administration and Postman for API interactions.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Use tools to monitor identity systems' health and performance, especially focusing on how GAM and Postman are utilized in the IAM ecosystem. Generate reports on system usage, compliance, and identity anomalies.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT and identity access management systems
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Practical experience with identity providers like Okta, G Suite, and HRIS systems.
  • Demonstrated use of Google Apps Manager (GAM) for managing G Suite identities.
  • Utilization of Postman for API testing and integration in an IAM context.
  • Proficiency with identity management tools, with specific skills in Okta, G Suite, and HRIS.
  • Hands-on experience with GAM for Google Workspace management.
  • Expertise in using Postman or similar tools for API development, testing, and automation.
  • Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python) for automating IAM tasks.
  • Understanding of security practices as they apply to identity management.
