Electrician- Coeur d'Alene Resort at Coeur d'Alene Resort in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Title Electrician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our Engineering team at The Coeur d'Alene Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the resort, ensuring that our guests enjoy a safe and uninterrupted stay. You will work closely with other departments to ensure all electrical operations are conducted efficiently and in compliance with safety standards. Wage: $30/hour or DOE Shifts: Sunday-Thursday with possible Monday-Friday Essential Functions + Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments. + Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner. + Perform regular maintenance and ensure that all electrical systems are working properly across the resort, including guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and recreational facilities. + Collaborate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, front desk, and food services) to address and resolve electrical issues. + Support the planning and execution of resort projects, renovations, and expansions by providing electrical expertise. + Assist with the maintenance of other systems, such as HVAC, if required. + Participate in energy-saving initiatives and suggest improvements for optimizing electrical usage. Job Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical work preferred. + Valid electrician license or certification as per local laws. + 3+ years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting. + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, and distribution. + Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA). + Physical ability to perform manual tasks, work at heights, and handle equipment safely. + Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. + Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
