Overview: Join our esteemed team at L'Ermitage's luxurious new restaurant as a Host, where you will be the first point of contact for our discerning guests. We are seeking a poised and hospitable individual who excels in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining impeccable professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Manage the reservations system efficiently, ensuring accurate seating assignments and timely updates.
- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and managers to ensure smooth seating and dining transitions.
- Provide guests with menus and offer information about daily specials and promotions.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
- Monitor table rotations and ensure that guests are seated promptly and appropriately according to their preferences and reservation details.
- Manage waitlists during peak dining hours, accurately estimating wait times and providing alternatives or updates as needed.
- Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries or reservations over the phone.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional appearance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy dining hours.
- Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., Resy) and familiarity with restaurant operations.
- Maintain and execute 5-star Forbes and 5 Diamonds AAA standards.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.

Hourly Rate:$21.00 + Gratuity
