Litigation
o Drafts simple pleadings and/or assists attorneys with major motions and filings.
o Performs cite-checking, fact-checking, and Blue Booking of legal memoranda and Shepardizing cases.
o Organizes all necessary documents for witness interviews, depositions, hearings, trials or arbitrations.
o Reviews, organizes and maintains document databases for case tracking, discovery and document productions.
o Utilizes legal software such as Relativity and litigation technology including eDiscovery and data rooms.
o eFiles documents in State and Federal Courts and coordinates service of documents.
o Locates and reviews information applicable to a particular case, person or subject via online research or document reviews.
o Assists in the preparation of pretrial motions, trail binders, trial exhibits, etc.
o Assist attorneys at depositions, hearings, trials or arbitrations.
o Manage data rooms and matter files.

Targeting between $80-120K

Required Skills & Experience

1 year experience as a Litigation Paralegal for individuals with a bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Individuals without a degree or certification requires five years' legal support experience in the specific practice area.

Must have strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw or similar application required.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
