Housekeeping is one of the most important departments in the hotel, as keeping a high standard of overall cleanliness throughout the property is of utmost importance. To be successful, a good Housekeeper will need knowledge of, and experience in cleaning and sanitizing rooms to meet and exceed requirements. Housekeeping's focus is ensuring cleanliness and comfort in all areas of our facilities, whether they be public or private. The department ensures that luxury invites our guests to relax and stay awhile, providing our team with the opportunity to cater for impeccable service. This position is dependent on both teamwork and individual efforts. The duties of a Housekeeper will include, but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

This position is dependent on both teamwork and individual efforts. The duties of a Housekeeper will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
- Making beds and changing linens
- Washing windows
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
- Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
- Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
- Report any issues that require maintenance and attention
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and supplies
- Always maintain cleanliness and organization of the department
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Physical stamina to be on your feet throughout shifts.
- Be a team player.
- Ability to finish tasks with a high degree of quality and in a timely manner.
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
