HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic

We are hiring HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic's to work in the Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding area. This role will need to be able to fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drain pipes, and furnaces casings. They will perform commercial maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration systems in grocery stores and other commercial businesses.Layout and Install HVAC sheet metal and duck work for new construction/remodel/renovation projects per the plan specificationsRepair existing duct systems and equipment using hand and power tools Accept, unload, and store material and equipment deliveries in a safe and productive mannerMust be flexible - schedule consists of work days, nights and out of townPerform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standardsProvide sheet metal and duckwork project support and ensure a timely and quality completion of the project RequirementsHVAC Mechanic Job Requirements:High School diploma or GED3+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal duck work experienceStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to operate smartphone technology, hand tools and power toolsAble to read instructions and blueprints and follow safety proceduresMust have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportationLegally eligible to work in the USPre-employment background screening (criminal, drug screen and DMV) is required for all positionsBenefits Package of a HVAC Mechanic Includes:Top industry weekly payDaily travel per diem of $50.00Outstanding Health Benefit PackageNine Company paid holidaysGenerous PTO Program401k with 100% company match (up to 6%)Company Paid Life InsuranceEmployee referral programTraining and Career Growth OpportunitiesWe offer a variety of challenging projects, outstanding benefits and training opportunities.
