Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Hours: 40 + hours a week (weekdays and weekends)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical work, with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and high voltage systems.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as motors, switches, and wiring.
- Install new electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete projects and tasks.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must possess good mathematical skills.
- Must be able to assess a situation and come up with a solution under the guidance of the Supervisor.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must have the strength and flexibility to perform the above-mentioned duties and be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under the guidance of the Supervisor.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems (480V and above).
- Experience working with logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Ability to use power tools and other electrical testing devices effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members.

- Valid US issued driver's license with a good driving record.
- Availability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required/assigned.
- Ability to work safely in all types of weather.
