Housekeeper

•Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing

•Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards

•Notify management of any damages, deficits, and disturbances on company property

•Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate

•Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

•Ensures that all designated areas of the plant are cleaned by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

•Empty all garbage cans in the office and warehouse and empty large trash containers into dumpsters.

•Makes sure that restrooms are cleaned including floors, toilets, sinks, partitions, and trash receptacles. Also, check and stock paper goods in restrooms.

•May be responsible for operating large floor cleaning and buffing machines.

•Must be able to perform responsibilities by following all Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines

•Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

•Willingness to learn and perform additional cleaning activities as requested

•Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Willing to train the right individuals with the proper attitude and desire to learn.
• Overtime is available especially during peak production periods.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, regularly move/lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Frequent twisting, reaching, and bending are required
• Due to the environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
