Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior Electrical Engineer, we'll count on you to:Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's developmentEstablish client relations, and participate in the marketing, design and production meetings with regard to electrical systemsAssume the electrical lead on many projectsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplinesCoordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on scheduleTrack the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-upon scheduleWork with the Project Manager and Regional Controller for project reviews with corporate management as neededDirect the activities of other electrical engineering professionals, and act as a mentor to other staff members as neededPerform other duties as needed*LI-BM1QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasisA minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)PEExtensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and life safety systemsRevit and AutoCAD experience. Must be able to open and print out a set of drawings, understand the limitations and abilities of the software and be able to make edits to drawing sets as requiredAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsA minimum of 15 years of experience at an MEP or AE firm is preferred but not requiredMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasisPrevious experience with federal, healthcare and data center projects is preferredDue to client contract requirements, candidates with US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are preferredStrong project management and communication skills.
