Responsible to perform all aspects of cleaning the community common areas and resident rooms or apartments ensuring a pleasing home-like environment for residents, associates and visitors.Cleans all Common Areas including the lobby, guest restrooms and hallways.Vacuums all carpeted areas and upholstered furnitureDusts all furniture, hanging pictures and fixturesSanitizes handrailsCleans glass surfacesCleans doors, doorways and wallsCleans and disinfects common areas and restroomsMops or vacuums common areasCleans and disinfects soiled utility binsCleans and organizes laundry areas and storage closetsEnsure that the housekeeping cart and other supplies and equipment are in a safe area as to prevent any injuries to residents, associates, or visitorsEnsure that hazardous cleaning products are properly stored and labeledCleans resident's rooms or apartments by vacuuming, dusting and disinfecting bathroomLaunders resident's linens, towels, sheets, and other items according to schedule and as neededEnsures residents' personal clothing remain separate at all times and are returned promptly to the residents' room or apartment once launderedProperly dispose of soiled clothing or linens in accordance with infection control standardsBe constantly alert to wipe up any water or liquid on the floors to prevent slips and falls by residents, associates or visitorsEstablishes and maintains good relationships with residents and family membersEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
