Senior Painter

The Senior Painter position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge.As a Painter at Trinity, you'll prepare, coat, and finish metal and/or other surfaces. You'll operate conventional/airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and/or other types of surfaces. You'll also mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies, and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula. You will also adjust nozzles on spray guns to obtain the proper dispersion of spray and monitors the flow and viscosity of the paint for solution.What you'll do:Expertly apply exterior coatings by spray and/or hand-held methods Expertly seal and/or bake final interior and exterior coatingsApply paint inside confined space vessels (large cylindrical vessels)Expertly apply interior primer coats Prepare painting the areaApply primer or first exterior coatPrepare and/or mix paintFollow all safety rules and practicesMay be involved in safety committees or initiativesPerform other duties as assigned What you'll need:Minimum of 3-4 year of experience (preferred)Understands most interior coatings and/or applications Must be able to work the day shift
