In this position you will develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes used to produce forging and finish products. You will also be tasked with the carrying out the company's goals relating to manufacturing process planning and maintenance of manufacturing data on our products. Job Requirements: Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.Able to work collaboratively across departments to support product development and overcoming day-to-day challenges.Develop, analyze, and improve manufacturing methods.Effectively and professionally communicate with employees across all levels and departments within APPAssists with resolution of customer, technical and quality issues. Participates and leads Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA) when necessary.Support manufacturing engineering in activities of product development for new and/or existing jobs, with primary focus on New Product Introduction (NPI).Create and develop process routings including supporting documentation needed to support NPI following departmental best practices.Works with Production Planning team to determine and maintain manufacturing costs and time standards.Offer support to the Engineering Change Request process and manufacturing process validations.Review and understand customer specifications, ensure customer requirements are properly captured and flowed down to stakeholders including external vendors for product subcontracting.Knowledge, Skill, Ability Requirements: Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering-Mechanical / Manufacturing / Material Science / Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.0-3 years' experience in engineering and/or manufacturing environment.Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment; experience with an ERP system (e.g. IFS).Experience with 3D modeling software, i.e. CATIA and/or SolidWorks.Familiarity with the aerospace industry and various commercial product lines.Fundamental knowledge of GD&T and blue print reading.Strong project management, organizational, analytical and presentation skills.Fundamental knowledge of statistical concepts and methods to ensure appropriate application and analysis of data.COMPENSATION: $25.57 - $34.54 per hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
