POSITION SUMMARY: The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for plates, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods.

Key Responsibilities:

•Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dishwasher

•Sort and stack clean dishes

•Transfer clean dishes to cook"'s line and other proper storage areas

•Wash pots, pans and trays by hand

•Remove trash and garbage to dumpster

•Set up or break down dishwashing area

•Clean and roll/unroll mats

•Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions

•Sweep/mop floors

•Clean restaurant and restrooms as directed

•Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry

Qualifications:

•Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture

•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

Education and/or Experience:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Minimum of (0) years' experience

Essential Physical Functions:

•Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of (20) hours a week.

•Ability to stand/walk for (7) hours per day.

•Must be able to lift and carry up to (45) lbs.

•Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry.

•Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.

•Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.

•Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, and seafood
