Job Title: Plumber-Pipefitter - 1st Shift
Location: Bothell, WA
Duration: 6months - temp to hire role
PR: $40.00 - 50.00/hr on W2
Shift Work Details: 7am -3:30pm
Job Summary:
As a Plumber Pipefitter, you will be responsible for daily support activities, including: Providing advanced level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventative and predictive maintenance on the industrial or commercial related to general facilities and utilities systems equipment to include but not limited to plumbing, mechanical equipment, motors, pumps, piping, drains, and other equipment as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
State of Washington Plumbing Contractors License 5 years' experience in the field of mechanical maintenance and plumbing In addition to education/experience, 3 years of progressive career experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or research & development facility maintenance.
Must have hands-on experience in the maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical building systems. Systems experience should include areas such as: plumbing, steam and hot water boilers, air handling units, pumps, compressors, air dryers, and exhaust systems. Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for several types of respirators.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Requirements Technical degree preferred.
Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses. Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
Experience working with heavy industrial or manufacturing plant steam systems, centrifugal chillers, air handling units, turbines, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, pneumatic controls, and building automation control systems. Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus. Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
