Exciting Automation Controls Engineer Opportunity Supporting Next Gen Tech!!

Job Description

Seeking an automation engineer experienced in developing PLC code for new automated manufacturing cells. Youll be collaborating as part of our larger technology development group, comprised of our Software, IT, AI Dev, & Automation teams to deliver automated systems to support our manufacturing scaling. The ideal candidate would describe themselves as a problem solver, analytical, fast-paced, and detail-oriented.

Hard Skills

+ Bachelors degree in automation/electrical/computer/mechanical/software engineering, or equivalent

+ 5+ years in developing custom automation

+ PLC Ecosystems expertise (Rockwell PLCS, Servo, and Safety)

+ Proficient with Structured Text/Function Block/Sequential Function Charts

+ Experience with controls hardware including sensors, remote IO, servos, safety devices, machine vision, barcode readers, HMI

+ Industrial networking protocols: Modbus, Ethernet TCP/IP, etc.

+ Control logic architecture design & planning

+ ABB Robotics experience
