Shifts: 2nd shift & 3rd shift Hours: 2:00pm - 10:00pm 2nd shift / 10pm - 6:00am 3rd shift (Monday -Friday) Pay: $21.00 per hour Airless Industrial Painter Job Responsibilities: Operate airless industrial spray paint machine Performs a variety of duties in laying out various parts, sub-assemblies and machines for priming, touch up and final painting. Properly prepare bare steel, aluminum, and stainless steel for priming. Mix all types of primer and paint for spray application. Prime parts, frames, and assemblies completely without runs, sags or overspray. Perform housekeeping for paints, paint filters, primers, thinning agents, equipment, storage cabinets, paint booth and adjacent areas during and after priming and painting of equipment. required-skills: Airless Industrial PainterJob Requirements: Minimum of 3 years airless industrial painter work experience Proficient in the use of air driven sanders. Experience using pressure washer or steam jenny units. Wear personal protective equipment such as respirators, disposable coveralls with hoods, safety glasses, sol vex gloves and creams for facial skin coverage Experience with paint application equipment to include conventional, airless, air assisted systems, quart pot, heaters, agitators and spray gun cleaning unit. Proper ventilations during paint and prime application process. Spill prevention measures to be taken if required Experience in the application for primer and finish paint coating to general industry stands to include appearance, coverage, and thickness.
